In the Aurora series, carefully constructed pictorial spaces give rise to fields in which layers of colour, emptiness, and light overlap.The works explore how light appears within the pictorial space, subtly shifting the perception of surface and depth. They are open pictorial spaces that do not impose a fixed viewpoint, but instead allow for an individual experience.
